Data used by the app

The app stores the chosen city, riding preferences and dated forecast locally. It does not request GPS access, record your route, use HealthKit or send an advertising identifier.

Weather requests and external services

The coordinates of a selected city are sent to Apple Weather, Open-Meteo or MET Norway to obtain a forecast. IMGW provides station measurements, warnings and radar. Providers receive network information such as your IP address and may retain technical logs under their own policies. Open-Meteo states that its technical logs can include coordinates and are deleted after 90 days. The author does not operate a central user database or collect weather-request logs.

Apple Maps is used for the city map. Map requests are handled by Apple. An optional custom IMGW forecast server can receive city coordinates, the city name and network metadata; its operator controls its logs.

Local storage, widgets and Watch

The last forecast is stored on the device and shared with the app's widgets. Forecast data is transferred to the paired Apple Watch through WatchConnectivity. Saved data may remain in the app group or system backup while another companion component is installed. Removing the app and its companion components removes their local storage; system backup retention is controlled in your Apple settings.

Support email

Sending an email is optional. Your address, message and attachments are used to respond and resolve the issue. Do not send unnecessary personal data. Correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request or meet applicable legal obligations.

Purpose and rights

Data is used to provide forecasts and support (GDPR Article 6(1)(b), where applicable), and to handle operational correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)). You may request access, correction or deletion of data held by the author, restriction or objection where applicable, and complain to your supervisory authority, including the Polish UODO. Requests about data held by a weather provider should also be directed to that provider.
