PodDock privacy

PodDock requires no account and includes no analytics or advertising. Audio, settings, backups and personal artwork remain on your Mac or iPod.

Artwork search sends artist and album names to MusicBrainz and downloads images from the Cover Art Archive. Theme previews come from the Rockbox catalogue. These services receive normal connection information, such as your IP address. PodDock does not upload audio files.

PodDock remembers local library paths and preferences. Backups are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/PodDock/Backups and can be removed in Finder.
